Coventry Uni's Summer Activities for Kids
The Coventry University Group is excited to announce the launch of four new projects for young people across the UK. Each project is completely free, with resources and materials supplied, and even a chance to win prizes!
These projects are designed for students in Years 7-13 (age 11-19).
Draw your Future
Are you a creative person? If so, this project is for you! Register below to receive postcards of black and white images designed by LemonPop representing our campuses, which you can colour in however you like! We will provide you with the art supplies you need. The final postcard is blank, this is where your design skills come in; We would like you to create a design which represents your future this might include university, college, apprenticeship or your future career. Send your design back to us in the pre-paid envelope to enter a competition to win prizes and Amazon vouchers! Your work may even be put on display at the university!
The Neon Envelopes
Would you like to receive handwritten letters from a current student studying at Coventry University? Take time to write to them about your thoughts and ideas for your future and gain insight and support from our students direct to your door. Choose your preferred student ambassador who you would like to write to. Then you will receive a pack with everything you need, which will allow you to respond back including free post envelopes. Then look forward to the NEON envelope landing on your doormat!
UniConnect Pen Pals
Ever wondered what it might be like to live in another part of the country? Would you like to connect with someone the same age as you who lives 200 miles away? This project gives you the chance to write and receive handwritten letters from another young person, from Warwickshire or Scarborough. You will be sent a free resource pack in post with everything you need. Put down your phone, pick up your pen and do something different! This project is for year 9 pupils who are currently part of ThinkHigher, Coventry and Warwickshire and FutureHY, Scarborough.
Please complete the online form to register for one or more of the projects.
