Art in the Park 2022 | Leamington Spa

  • Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th August 2022
  • 10am - 6pm
  • Jephson Garden and Mill Gardens
  • FREE event, no ticket required

The festival will give visitors, families and young people the opportunity to take part in and enjoy a range of art, theatre, dance, crafts, music, events and workshops, designed to entertain visitors and bring the festival’s community together. It will take place across two spaces in the town, Jephson Gardens and Mill Gardens, and will also host some of the finest local culinary offerings across pop-up food and drink stalls.

At the heart of the festival’s reputation is its famous art marketplace – a community of hundreds of local artists whose art will be on sale in various stalls and tents across the two parks. There are also opportunities for families and locals to get involved with making art for the festival, through online workshops and free art supplies that can be collected from the Pump Rooms or Town Hall.

What's On

  • Dance collective DMAC are back, running their popular online sessions for Street Dance, West African, Salsa and Bollywood, all culminating in live flash-mob performances at the festival.
  • Creative support agency TULU return for their second year with songwriting and DJ workshops that mentor artists in music production and business support.
  • Education provider Leamington Lamp will be at the festival providing art sessions for neurodiverse young people as well as sensory art installations that give visitors the chance to hear music performed by trees and create art in response to it.
  • Art In The Park will also be collaborating with SPLAT Arts Festival to give young people a platform to devise, produce and curate their own work.
