Fridays F.E.E.L Programme

It is not all about having great qualifications and A * results. Nowadays, people want young people to develop life skills that can help you in any situation and have qualities that can help you in all sorts of social situations whether that is being able to walk into a room and talk to strangers, to being confident when you go for a job interview. Or just show that you can lead if you get the opportunity to do so. So, the F.E.E.L Programme just gives you a little help from young people that have been where you are and understand. You will get great advice and tips that you can use to build your confidence, build your ideas and help you lead. You can even use the certificate you get at the end of the programme to attach to your CV or talk about in a social setting or at a job interview. Find out more here.

What is Fridays?

Tyler Campbell is an 18 year old who hopes his new idea FRIDAYS can inspire Coventry teenagers to come out and enjoy their Friday evenings in a safe but exciting space. Tyler wanted to set up a nightclub to provide a safe environment for young people to go to safely with entertainment like djs, open mic, pool etc. There is also an educational side like cv writing, job searching for young people and life skills. At Friday’s there a separate spaces for education and themes including music and even barbers cutting young people’s hair! In terms of the educational side there is cv writing from our volunteers, sometimes fast track courses from businesses that want to help and future life skills.

More than 200 young people have attended FRIDAYS and many say that FRIDAYS have helped turn their lives around. Through FRIDAYS, fewer young people hang out on the street and are bored, and Tyler hopes the knife crime statistics and gang violence statistics will reduce.
