For the second year running, rooftops in Coventry City Centre will be taken over by eight massive, mischievous monsters during October half term!

Monster Trail in Coventry City Centre

  • Dates: 25 October 2021 - 31 October 2021
  • Location: Broadgate, Coventry City Centre
  • Cost: Free

With all these sneaky monsters on the loose in Coventry City Centre, we’re asking families to once again take on the role of ‘Monster Detectives’ to track down and name the monsters. The job of the detectives will be to track down all the playful beasts, give them names and, if the detectives are brave enough, take photos with the monsters. If families do take photos, we’re asking that they share them with the other detectives on the trail by using the hashtag #covmonsters21.

Families will be able to follow this imaginative and colourful trail anytime throughout the day and evening. Some of the monsters will be illuminated, so they’re always visible, which will give families more opportunity to take part in this spooky experience.

The Monsters are very happy creatures but they really don’t like windy wet weather! So there may be times if the weather is really bad, the monsters might disappear.

The Trail map is available to download now.

Printed versions of the map will also be available for collection from the Council House. The Council House is open Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm and the maps will be available for collection from the front desk.

The locations on the map are:

  • Transport Museum
  • Broadgate House
  • Central Library
  • Lower Precinct
  • Fargo Village
  • Coventry University
  • New Union Street Car Park
