Community Support
The Highlife Centre strengthens community cohesion through arts, culture, and heritage events and activities. They use heritage events as a catalyst to tackle the socio-economic challenges faced by minority groups, such as mental health issues, particularly among young people, loss of identity and self-worth, social isolation, lack of skills, and high unemployment. Through these activities, they promote social inclusion, enabling individuals to integrate into society. The Highlife Centre collaborates with various partners on impactful projects, including the African Heritage Collaboration Network.
Together with these partners, they deliver the following activities:
- Coffee and Puzzles Breakfast Club
- Maths and English Session
- Digital Inclusion Session
