What is a Cat Café?

The concept of the Cat Café originates in Taiwan. The idea was developed to give people who are unable to own their own pets the opportunity to spend time in an environment with a variety of cats.

Studies show that having a cat elevates your mood, lowers blood pressure and anxiety levels, improves your sleep, provides comfort and companionship, and encourages physical activity. Cats provide a multitude of therapeutic benefits. They are just plain good for us!

Come and spend time with the fur babies at A Slice of Purrfection and make new friends at this cat café in Solihull! The entrance fee allows you to visit and enjoy the company of the cats for 1 hour. During this time you will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of good quality food and beverages.

Visiting A Slice of Purrfection

• There is an entrance fee of £3.95 which is dedicated to the welfare of the cats and allows for a 1 hour stay. 
• The cats at A Slice of Purrfection are members of the family and as such are not available for adoption. Unlike other Cat Cafes these cats do not live on the premises. 
• The team at A Slice of Purrfection are passionate about promoting animal welfare. They welcome everyone from all walks of life, and of any age. The team believes hands on interaction and guidance is the best way of educating people to be kind and respectful to animals. Any customers causing any form of unnecessary stress or harm to the cats will be asked to leave.
