This dazzling Oscar-nominated animation is a sumptuous tale of friendship and creativity in medieval times. The first film in Tomm Moore and Nora Twomey’s celebrated Irish folklore trilogy. The Secret of Kells follows young Brendan, who lives in a remote outpost under siege from barbarian raids, and who finds a new life beckoning him when a master illuminator arrives – carrying the magical and unfinished Book of Kells, which brims with ancient wisdom and power.
