Family Friendly Art Talks at Herbert Gallery

These family-friendly art talks will bring a different gallery space or series of artworks to life each month, using animated talks and child-friendly language to help younger visitors to engage in a way that is meaningful to them. 

• Takes place on the last Saturday of the month (27 January, 24 February, 30 March & 27 April 2024) 
• 11.00am, 12.00pm, 1.00pm & 2.00pm
• Drop in | Free
• Designed for 3+, but all are welcome 

Led by the Herbert Gallery's expert learning team, these relaxed, drop-in talks encourage children to share their views and questions about the artworks they are introduced to, supporting them with their own interpretations. The team understand that interpreting art can sometimes be difficult for children, but the friendly staff are here to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to discover and enjoy the exciting range of work on display by local, national and even world-famous artists.
