Arawak Community Trust and Xcel Leisure Centre are teaming up for their 14th annual Family Sports Funday & Caribbean BBQ — a free summer series packed with sport, food, music, and fun for all the family.

Now in its 14th year, this much-loved free community event returns across three summer Sundays with something for every member of the family. Sports activities on the day include:

• 5-a-side football & netball tournament
• Rounders, relay races & tug of war — junior and adult
• Egg & spoon race, dizzy relay, 3-legged race & sack races

Other activities include bouncy castle, face painting, zorbing, gymnastic display, street dance crew, dominoes, and a bun eating contest. Indoor activities include swimming (12pm–3pm only) and a crèche for under 5s.

Food and drink on site includes 2 fully licensed bars, jerk chicken stations, burger stands, candy floss, ice cream van, doughnut van, and a cake stall. Music is supplied by DJs from ArawaKRadio.com on the Fatal Attraction Sound System.
