Gin Festival at Fargo Village

Friday 20th - Saturday 21st March | 6pm - 11pm

Head down to Fargo Village this Spring for the return of everyone’s favourite- it’s the Independent Gin Festival!

Welcome to the Gin Fest that allows you to get up close and personal with your favourite independent gin companies! We are inviting a number of different independent gin distilleries to showcase their gin for you. It’s the perfect way to try new gins and learning from the experts! Get the inside info on how to nail that perfect G&T every time, the best garnish for your favourite flavours, and get ready for a cocktail masterclass from the one and only British Polo Gin! All this, plus great music, great company, and of course, only the best gin!

Easter Chocolate Festival at Fargo Village

Saturday 4th April | 11am - 5pm

Head down to Fargo Village this Easter for the brilliant Chocolate Festival! This is the perfect day out to stock up on delicious chocolate treats ahead of your Easter weekend! Get ready for a day full of tasty treats, Easter Eggs and workshops.

From fudge to cake, cookies to brownies, and of course plenty of chocolate, there is something for everyone. Fargo Village are welcoming some of the best chocolate makers and traders in the Midlands, and have everything you need to celebrate your chocolate love in style.

Festival of Running

Sunday 5th April | 8:50am

Join 5000 runners on historic streets and down leafy lanes in the Coventry Festival of Runnung. A scenic course, past medieval buildings with a stunning medieval cathedral finish. Whether you're regular ParkRunner or taking on your first Couch to 5k, hit the streets of Coventry to get moving and raise money for a great cause.

Vegan Festival at Fargo Village

Saturday 18th April | 11am - 6pm & Sunday 19th April | 11am - 4pm

FarGo’s Vegan Festival is back! Head down to Fargo Village on the Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th of April to celebrate and explore all things vegan!

The village will be filled with loads of totally vegan stallholders across two venues within FarGo. Whether you’re exploring veganism and want to learn more, you’re taking your tentative first steps, or you’re a long term vegan, this is the place to be!

Coventry Beer Festival

Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd May | 12pm - 11pm

Over 18's Only!

The Coventry Beer Festival is being held in the Coventry Rugby Football Ground and is a CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) event. Visitors will get beer tokens and a festival beer glass on entry to the festival which are both refundable. This means you can keep the glass after the festival if you want a souvenir to take home.

There will be over 75 beers featuring special beers from local breweries helping to showcase the local talent. Enjoy third, half and pint-size drink servings giving you the chance to sample new beers before drinking a full pint. And don’t worry, there will be food available at every session helping to cure any hunger after your first few pints. Enjoy tucking into some hot street-style food and wash it down with your favourite ale that you have discovered at the festival.

Saturday 6th - Sunday 7th June

MotoFest Coventry is a two day motor-themed cultural festival in the heart of Coventry. It brings together thousands, young and old, to celebrate the industry that moves us. Thrilling motorsport, heritage displays, global street food, live music and more: MotoFest is the one summer party invite that’s just too good to turn down. A free event for all the family!

Coventry Pride

Saturday 13th - Sunday 14th June

Every year, Coventry plays host to our annual Pride event. In 2019, Coventry Pride attracted 88,000 people to the city centre across the festival weekend. The event has gone from strength-to-strength since its inception in 2015. Coventry Pride are excited to announce that the Headline Stage for their annual Pride festival is moving to Broadgate (Lady Godiva Square) for 2020.

Martin Pink, Chair of the Board of Trustees said “University Square has served us very well for 3 years and we thank Coventry University for all of their support, but the time has come to expand. With our visitor numbers increasing every year, a larger, more central location is now required for Coventry Pride, ready to take us into 2020 and beyond for UK City of Culture in 2021.

Food Festival at Coombe Abbey

Sunday 14th June | 10am - 5pm

Coombe Abbey Park's newest Food Festival will showcase some of the finest regional food & drink producers. There will be a line up of around 60 exhibitors. There will also be plenty to do for the whole family, with children’s amusements and captivating Wildlife Workshops for Children.

Godiva Festival

Friday 3rd July | 6pm to 10.30pm
Saturday 4th July | 12pm to 10.30pm
Sunday 5th July | 12pm to 7pm

Coventry’s flagship Godiva Festival will return to the War Memorial Park on 3rd - 5th July 2020. The popular event has been running for over 20 years and will once again feature top name acts and local talent, with live music, comedy and entertainment across five stages.

The festival will continue to be a ticketed event this year. Early Bird tickets are available until 30th April.

The Legends Festival

Friday 4th September | 7pm - 10:30pm

After selling out major arenas in 2019, Queen & ABBA are coming to War Memorial Park for The Legends Festival!

It will be a night to remember, offering outstanding value with TWO spectacular concerts rolled into ONE awesome night with globe-trotting Killer Queen and ABBA Mania. This is one electrically charged super show!

Gin & Rum Festival at Coventry Cathedral

Friday 16th & Saturday 17th October | 6:30pm - 11pm

If you’re thirsty for knowledge or just want to party the night away, the Gin and Rum Festival is for you! Discover new favourites with samples from our hand-picked guest distillers, treat yourself at our themed Gin and Rum bars, and let your hair down with your friends.
