Not only does The Albany Theatre have a 600 seated auditorium, it also has different sized studio spaces in an accessible central city centre location with plenty of parking only 150 metres away.

Clive Benfield Studio

• Size: 77.6m²
• Capacity: 60
• Features: Acoustic isolation.
• Ideal for: meetings, singing/drama lessons, rehearsals, any type of class and workshops.

A versatile, flexible space to hire for your personal or business use with enough space to seat between 60-80 people for any conferences, meetings, community group or party. The studios also feature acoustic isolation meaning your hire, whether that be a meeting or a singing practice, will not have any noise interference from any other bookings in the theatre.

Inspire Studio

• Size: 95m²
• Capacity: 80
• Features: Acoustic isolation.
• Ideal for: meetings, rehearsals, workshops, classes, exercise classes, small parties, small conferences.

A versatile, flexible space to hire for your personal or business use with enough space to seat between 60-80 people for any conferences, meetings, community group or party. The studios also feature acoustic isolation meaning your hire, whether that be a meeting or a singing practice, will not have any noise interference from any other bookings in the theatre.

Spotlight Studio

• Size: 15m x 7.5m
• Capacity: 110
• Features: Dressing rooms, Projector and Screen*, acoustic isolation.
• Ideal for: Small theatre & dance & music shows, showreels, videography and promotional content and parties.

A Multi-Purpose space with no fixed seating, however can seat up to 110 people depending on your seating style which ranges from a tiered seating rake to cabaret seating. The option of a projector and screen, *at an additional cost, is great for any conferences/meetings requiring visual presentations.

This studio is also great for capturing promo content if you want a blank canvas, keeping any videos/content looking professional. The space is kitted out completely with lights and sound for professional and community shows.

Courtyard Studio

• Size: 111m²
• Capacity: 110
• Features: Dressing rooms, Sprung floor, acoustic isolation.
• Ideal for: Small theatre shows, conferences (Subject to availability), rehearsals, workshops, exercise classes and parties.

This studio is great for smaller intimate performances and can seat up to 110 people depending on your seating style which ranges from in the round to cabaret seating and is kitted out completely with lights and sound for professional and community shows. The Sprung floor will be ideal for any physical theatre or dance rehearsals.
