Mini Meadows Farm
Mini Meadows Farm is a lovely children’s farm park set in 12 acres of rolling countryside on the Northamptonshire and Leicestershire border. The Farm provides a fun, educational and great value day out for adults and children alike, whatever the weather.
Things to do at Mini Meadows Farm
Feed the Animals
Come and meet the animals and learn what they like to eat using the colour-coded feed buckets. Get close up to the guinea pigs at daily greeting sessions, and join the rabbits in the giant enclosures and feed them some juicy carrots. And don’t forget the larger animals that are waiting to meet you – cheeky goats, alpacas, sheep, pigs, ponies and cows to name a few.
When the weather lets you down, Mini Meadows Farm still has lots to keep the kids occupied – explore the baby barn, build sandcastles in the huge indoor sandpit, and discover the enchanting indoor play area, The Treetops.
Outdoor Play Area
There is a brilliant wooden fort within the play area, with slides, swings and ladders, to keep the kids entertained!
Indoor Play Area CLOSED
The Treetops is Mini Meadows Farm’s exciting, enchanting, and enormous wooden indoor play area. ssWith its climbing walls and rope bridges, huge slides, tunnels and funky lighting, it’s a huge hit with children of all ages. There’s even a separate area for toddlers, which is smaller for little legs but still just as fun. And of course there is a seating area for the adults to sit back with a coffee while the kids run off some energy.
To make the most of The Treetops, we’ve introduced a reduced entry price to the farm after 3pm (£2.50) – perfect for after school entertainment!
Mini Meadows Farm Cafe
Mini Meadows Farm Café serves a great selection of delicious homemade cakes, light lunches and proper coffee, all against a charming rural backdrop with views across the farm. In the summer months there is a large decking area with tables and seating and the animal paddocks just a few feet away, and inside there are plenty of tables in the café itself .
The café is the perfect place for lunch when visiting the farm, with a menu to please both adults and the kids.
There are indoor and outdoor picnic areas, with plenty of space and high chairs for you to enjoy your own sandwiches.
