Undō offer specially designed Yoga, Pilates and Mindfulness classes for children from reception age through to teens.

  • Tuesdays 4.00pm - Children's Yoga (Reception to Year 4)
  • Tuesdays 5.00pm - Children's Yoga (Year 5 to Year 8)
  • Tuesdays 6.00pm - Teen Yoga (Year 9 to Year 12)
  • Thursdays 4.00pm - Teen Barre (all teens)

You can purchase Undō Classes in Block Bundles of three or six classes. Class Block Bundles provide a significant discount when compared to the price of individual class bookings.

You can find Undō right in the heart of Kenilworth, directly opposite Abbey End car park and adjacent to Talisman Square. Undō is far more than just a Yoga studio. What to Expect at Undō

Kids Pilates & Meditation

This class designed specifically for children to improve posture, mood, sleep quality and cognitive performance, develop confidence and self-esteem. It is a low impact form of exercise that generally improves flexibility and muscular strength and endurance. Mindfulness practice is incorporated into the class for enhanced body and mind awareness. Is this class for your child? It is appropriate for young people from all backgrounds and all levels of fitness, including those who regularly take part in sport, those who dance and those who tend to be less active. Nicolette is fully DBS checked and insured to teach children. Class Price: £8.50 (discounted when bought in class blocks of 3 or 6)

Children's Yoga

Children’s yoga is taught using postures (asanas), stretches, exercise and games through story telling. It’s known to help children develop the right balance of muscle tone and strength throughout the body to support the joints, build core strength and help to maintain mobility and flexibility. Yoga is known to improve attention span, concentration through the story structure and inclusion of multiple styles. Children build compassion and empathy for themselves and others through exploring the stories’ meanings in a fun and non-competitive way. It improves self confidence, social awareness, confidence with speech in interactive parts of the story and encourages healthy sleep patterns. Boy and girls are welcome and Nicola Burroughs who teaches this class is DBS certified to level 3 (of 3) and has previously taught children in primary education for 20 years specialising and leading in mindfulness, mental health, PE and PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education). Teen Yoga

Teen yoga has been designed for children in school years 9 to 12. It will build awareness of self, others and the wider world. It will encourage empathy, tolerance and understanding though postures (asanas) breathwork and meditation. Regular “asana” practice improves posture, endurance, strength and flexibility so as to help reduce risk of injury in sports and games and improve overall cardio-vascular fitness and body/special awareness. Regular yoga practice is known to help to calm the mind, improve concentration and self-confidence, attention span and memory function as well as reducing stress and anxiety and promoting better quality sleep. Is this class for your child? If you would like your child to enter a safe and calm retreat to learn the benefits of yoga then this class is for your child. Boy and girls are welcome. Teen Barre

Teen Barre is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga and Pilates. It focuses on low impact, high intensity movements designed to strengthen one’s body, develop agility, balance, range of movement and improve posture. This is a full body, muscle endurance workout to uplifting, energetic music and broken down into different sections that focus on major muscle groups. Is Teen Barre for my teen? This is fun and energetic, low impact, dance based exercise which will help build confidence whilst improving strength, stability and alignment. This class is for boys and girls of all body shapes and abilities. No dance experience is required. Laura who teaches this class is DBS certified and spent 10 years as a professional dancer and teacher working internationally and in the UK.
