Coventry is inviting residents to come together for Armed Forces Day, with a church service and parade through the city centre to honour the Armed Forces community.

Coventry is joining the country's annual tribute to the Armed Forces community with a service at Holy Trinity Church followed by a short parade into Broadgate, led by the 13th Coventry Scout Band. The march-past will feature past, present, and future members of the Armed Forces community, with the Lord Mayor of Coventry, Cllr Roger Bailey, taking the salute. Members of the public are warmly encouraged to gather in Broadgate to show their support. Armed Forces Day marks the end of a week of celebrations, which also includes Reserves Day on 24th June.
