Introduce the next generation of daytimer ravers to the underground south Asian music scene with DJ Jazzy. Expect a mashup of jungle, garage, dnb, bhangra and breaks with iconic desi beats. On the family-only dancefloor expect a big dose of good vibes, bubbles, SNOW FOAM, balloons and more inside a light and bright venue with warehouse vibes. 

This indoor/outdoor event will give you the first festival-feels of the season with lots of natural light, outdoor seating and top-notch beer!

What to Expect

• 2 hours of high-energy adult dance music 
• Bubbles, snow foam, smoke machine, confetti cannons and a giant parachute dance 
• Craft activities - make your own paper flower rave crown, giant colouring-in mural and homemade playdough table
• Giant colouring-in mural 
• Baby chillout space with mats and a small ball pool
• Toddler Area - tents, tunnels and toys 
• Giant parachute dance
• Licensed bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (additional fee)

Important Info (but a tad boring) 

• Stairs/Accessibility - The venue is all one level with an accessible toilet. 
• Toilets and nappy-changing facilities - There are toilets and a changing table will be available. 
• Prams/buggies/general kid stuff - There is very limited storage space available, please leave prams behind if possible. You will need to carry prams up a flight of stairs to the storage area. Valuables (including kids) are the parent's responsibility. Prams will not be allowed on the dance floor. Slings are encouraged and are cool!
• Sound Level - The music level is set and monitored throughout to abide by WHO guidelines. Though quieter than at adult events, it is still loud enough to feel like you are at a club. Most parents do not use ear defenders on their children but if yours are particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap then you might want to consider it. 
• Parking - The venue is on an industrial estate with limited parking. It may be easier to be dropped off if possible, or, if one partner drops to the door with kids whilst the other parks up.

Safety 

• Adults remain responsible for their children at all times 
• Adult only groups are not admitted. 
• A max of 3 children per adult in a family. 
• The event will be busy. The dancefloor is for adults and children to dance together. 
• For indoor events, low lighting/club lighting rigs (no strobes) are used. BFLF Crew will monitor the stairs. 
• Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating 
• Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance 

Large Groups 

If attending as a large party please ensure one adult to two children minimum. BFLF will refuse entry to groups where there is inadequate supervision. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email Sophie@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk for pre-approval before buying tickets. Each member of your group must have a ticket and pre-walking infants are free (but ticketed). Please purchase bear in mind the age your child will be at the time the event will take place. It will cost more on the door (if tickets are available) 

Just a reminder... 

Please be aware that BFLF is designed to provide a family-friendly, authentic club experience and is not a traditional children’s party or disco. There will be no kid's music, games, or DJ shout outs. The effect is to give families unity on the dancefloor – dancing together. DJs will be announced in advance of each party via Twitter and Facebook but may be subject to unavoidable change.
