Positive Family Foundations is a nurture-based programme that gives parents and carers a greater understanding of children's development and behaviour. Through supportive weekly sessions, you'll explore practical strategies that help children feel secure, build positive relationships and thrive both at home and beyond.

This evidence-based course uses ideas from brain development, attachment theory, sensory needs and emotional regulation to help parents better understand challenging behaviour and respond with confidence and empathy.

During the 10-week course you'll:

• Attend free, friendly and supportive face-to-face sessions
• Learn how to better understand and support your child's development
• Explore brain development, attachment theory, sensory needs and emotional regulation
• Discover practical techniques including Emotion Coaching
• Learn positive behaviour strategies based on the principles of PACE – Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy
• Meet other parents and carers in a supportive environment
• Find out about the online pre-recorded version if you're unable to attend in person
