After Dark are a rock and roll and blues cover band from Coventry made up of five mates who share a passion for playing great music! They cover a variety of mid to late twentieth century modern rock and roll classics. They have raised thousands of pounds for charity by playing gigs across the Midlands and continue to raise money for worthy causes such as The Violet Project and Birmingham Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Named after the song from the iconic snake dance scene in Tarantino’s ‘Dusk till Dawn’, After Dark cover a range of songs from 50’s classics from Eddie Cochran and Chuck Berry, to 90’s classics from artists such as Primal Scream and Ocean Colour Scene. All their songs are played with a raw edge and stripped-down feel. Some covers have been given an unexpected powerful rocky adaptation, such as Tina Turner’s ‘Nutbush City Limits’ and Status Quo’s ‘In My Chair’ which will seem a refreshing departure from the originals.

After Dark continue to play regularly at a variety of different venues from pubs and clubs to festivals and weddings. They are available to hire for private events as well as regularly planning their own gigs to raise money for worthy causes.
