Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL)

Coventry Blaze competes in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), the UK’s premier top-flight ice hockey league. The EIHL (founded in 2003) consists of 10 teams representing all 4 Home Nations. The 9 other clubs are the Belfast Giants, Glasgow Clan, Cardiff Devils, Dundee Stars, Fife Flyers, Guildford Flames, Manchester Storm, Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers. 

Ice hockey is the number-one attended indoor professional sport in the UK and overall it is the third largest winter spectator sport in the UK after football and rugby union. The Blaze, four-time Elite League Champions, generally play once home and once away on Saturday and Sunday (between August and April), and on occasion mid-week.

Coventry Blaze Parking

The Skydome Arena is situated on Croft Road in Coventry city centre (Junction 7 of the city ring road) next to the old IKEA. Coventry Blaze use and recommend the Skydome’s APCOA Multi-Storey Car Park, immediately behind the Arena. Open 24 hours, winner of a Secure Parking award, security patrols and 24 hour CCTV. 

What is at the Skydome Arena?

Coventry Blaze home games are played at the Skydome Arena, a 3,000 capacity (2,200 seats) multi-purpose arena in the city centre of Coventry. The Skydome complex is home to a number of restaurants, bars, Odeon Cinema, gym and title sponsor Genting Casino.
Off the ice, the team runs a successful community programme which involves working with local schools, charities and businesses.
