Explore what life was like in wartime Coventry... Located in the corner of the Cathedral Ruins, the Blitz Museum is a treasure trove of 1940's memorabilia and artefacts. Visitors will learn more about the Coventry Blitz on 14th November 1940 in the period school room, and will then travel through a typical house of the time and learn more about life in this era from one of their friendly and knowledgeable volunteers.

The Museum has a range of free children’s activities going on throughout half term week including: Paper planes, dress up dolls, peg dolls, wartime cards and a quiz

No tickets required. Admission is FREE but donations are encouraged to support the work of the museum and it's volunteers.

The Blitz Museum is entirely run by volunteers and sometimes events in the Ruins or inclement weather conditions or volunteer shortages may mean reduced opening hours, so please check in advance by calling 02476 521234 if you are planning on making a special trip  or follow our Facebook page Coventry Cathedral Tower and Blitz Museum for updates.
