Join the Friends of Memorial Park alongside local parks staff for a special Day of Action for Nature, introducing exciting new plans to transform the former footgolf course into a thriving, biodiverse hub for wildlife.
This engaging, hands-on event invites the community to get involved in shaping the future of this green space. Throughout the day, visitors can take part in a range of fun and educational activities designed to support conservation efforts while learning more about the natural world.
From building bird boxes and bug hotels to taking part in real wildlife surveying, every activity contributes towards creating and improving habitats for the species that call the park home. It’s a fantastic opportunity for children to explore, discover, and connect with nature in a meaningful way.
