Cultured Waist is turning 4 and they've decided to celebrate by throwing a festival in appreciation of Coventry and everything it has contributed towards their growth and development.

"Embrace" Festival is a day for all lovers of creativity to come together and celebrate Coventry and all the individuals and organisations who have committed themselves to making changes.

The name "Embrace" encourages all attendees to embrace themselves fully, every strength and every weakness. As creatives we can often deny ourselves the freedom to create if we don't feel good enough. Even on your lowest day, you deserve to express, embrace and elevate yourself.

Why “Embrace” Festival?

The event is a way for Cultured Waist to celebrate themselves and all the work they've done over the last 4 years, but also to celebrate some of the amazing creatives Coventry has to offer and to commemorate LTB Showrooms and the building which will be demolished in November after 138 years of standing tall.

After City of Culture, a lot of hope was lost as creatives are unaware of what is available to them and what they're capable of doing themselves. Through participation, experience and networking, they aim to empower creatives in Coventry to take matters into their own hands and take the first steps towards building systems and understanding of the industry and how to make it work for you.

The event is aimed at creatives and stakeholders who are interested to see what is currently going on in Coventry. As active members of the community and creative industry, we want to make sure you leave knowing that you have the power to create anything for yourself.
