Meet your friends and neighbours in Spencer Park to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.!

Jubilee Picnic 

Sunday 5th June 2022 from 11am - 3pm.

The café will be open serving drinks and homemade cakes. There will be a 'Royal Trail' game around the park, plus free tennis and stalls. Please note: No BBQs in the park, please.

There will be a 'Draw a picture of the Queen' competition with prizes for the winners. The team are asking children to use their artistic talents to draw or paint a picture of the Queen to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee. The pictures are to be drawn at home and brought to the park on Sunday 5th June between 11.00am and 2.00pm. They will then be judged, and prizes awarded at 2.30pm. 

There will be 4 age groups for the competition:

• 0 – 4 years
• 5 – 7 years
• 8 – 10 years
• Over 10.

Please ensure that the child’s name, age and a contact telephone number or email is on the back of the picture. (Contact details will only be used if the winning child is not in the park when the prizes are given out and will not be used for anything else). The pictures will be put on display in the park as they arrive so everyone can see what talented artists we have in our community.
