War Memorial Park Junior parkrun is hosting a special Easter-themed event. The session welcomes children trying parkrun for the first time, as well as returning juniors celebrating milestone achievements.

War Memorial Park Junior parkrun – Easter Special 

• Date: Sunday 5th April 2026 | 9am
• Venue: War Memorial Park, Coventry, CV1 2NE
• Suitable for: Children of all ages, families, first-timers welcome
• Booking: FREE – children must be registered prior to the event at parkrun registration

Participants will follow a 2k route that starts near the children’s play area. First-timers are invited to gather at 8:50am for a welcome briefing, with the main run starting at 9am. Children must bring their barcode to record their results. Attendees are encouraged to walk, cycle, scoot, or use public transport where possible.

Children celebrating milestone achievements are asked to email warmemorialpark-juniors@parkrun.com in advance so milestone wristbands can be presented during the briefing.

Volunteers are always welcome. Those interested can check future rosters at parkrun Future Roster and email volunteer offers to warmemorialparkjuniors@parkrun.com with their parkrun ID, full name, and availability.

This event provides an enjoyable and active Easter morning for families, encouraging participation, achievement, and community spirit.
