The Prince's Trust TEAM Programme is an EMPLOYABILITY course for young adults aged between 16 - 25 who are not in employment education or training. The Course is for 12 weeks and will be at the Canley Community Centre 5 days a week.

As part of the course the team will help assist the running of the Canley Food Hub every Friday as well as developing the Canley Community Centre garden as part of the community project aspect of the course.

Starting Tuesday 6th April 2021 for 12 weeks at Canley Community Centre

There are also qualifications to be gained (BTEC Level 1 Awards Work Skills (Managing Money & Self Assessment) + Certificate in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills (either Level 1 or 2 depending on academic ability)

As well as this there will be the opportunity to gain First Aid at work qualification and we are hoping to be able to offer participants the opportunity to complete a volunteering package which once completed will allow the individual the chance to apply to be a volunteer at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham

There is also the 2 week period where the TEAM members are to find themselves a work placement in an area that they are interested in.

By the end of the 12 weeks we aim that they will have a much completed CV ready for their future with all of the qualifications and experience in the projects that they have completed.

We will also do a final presentation for any stakeholders either in person or virtual.

Most importantly the course is completely FREE and aims to build confidence and help young people gain the skills to be able to go into employability or return to education.
