Puddle Ducks teaches children to swim independently, beautifully and confidently, and to love and respect the water. They teach essential life skills and water safety to over 19,000 babies, toddlers, pre-school and primary school children across the UK, every week.

Puddle Ducks classes are packed full of fun - watch as your little one develops into a confident swimmer without even realising they are learning to swim! The team recognise that every child is different; and expert teachers individually tailor activities to suit your child’s ability and confidence levels. At Puddle Ducks the team often see children achieving their 10m award before they start school.

The pool at DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry

This lovely pool is located at the DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry with plenty of on-site parking available.

• Free parking is available onsite, please make your way to the LivingWell Health Club reception to validate your parking. 
• Pool Temperature: 29-31°C.
• Pool Depth: 1.3m throughout.
• Separate male and female changing rooms.
• Accessible changing room also available.

Which class do I need?

Floaties: 0 - 9 months

Babies have a natural affinity with the water and this programme gently nurtures this, building confidence, both in the child and often the parent. 

Splashers: 6 - 15 months

Between the ages of 6 and 9 months, your baby will have developed enough strength and co-ordination to try more advanced activities and will be ready for Splashers. The Splashers class is full of action, toys and songs – and of course lots of ducks! 

Kickers: 15 - 30 months

Whilst in the Kickers class, the children’s communication skills come into their own. Language and responding to key words, counting and listening all play a part in this level of the programme.

Little Dippers - 30 months - 4 years

Because of the way our teachers are trained to support children of all abilities, in Little Dippers we can accommodate those who are new to swimming as well as those who have worked their way through the Puddle Ducks programme.

Dippers & Dabblers

Exclusively for those progressing through Little Dippers, the Dippers and Dabblers classes are all about preparing little swimmers for the day they go into the water without their adult, either in the Puddle Ducks Swim Academy or with primary school or another provider.
