The city’s War Memorial Park plays host to the city’s annual remembrance event which takes place by the Cenotaph in the park.

This year’s events has added poignancy with the Blitz anniversary and all are invited to attend this free event attended by the Lord Mayor of Coventry, the Bishop of Coventry and serving and retired members of the armed forces.

Coventry has a long history of promoting peace and reconciliation and honoring the contribution of servicemen and women over the years. Coventry Peace Festival 2025 has a programme of events, all with promoting peace at it's heart.
