Organised by the charity Intercultural Roots as part of the national Creativity and Wellbeing Week, Rooted in Coventry is a full day of shared joy, creativity, and connection — tying into the national theme of "Critical Hope" with a focus on creative health, belonging, and nature-connectedness. Your £7 ticket is an all-access pass to the entire festival, with children attending completely free. Here's what to expect on the day:

• The Creative Commons — a dedicated space celebrating Coventry's creative industries and communities; come along to connect, network, and discover local initiatives

• Live Music & Drumming Circles — interactive percussion sessions and community jams suitable for all ages and abilities

• Youth Music Activities — drumming circles and interactive music-making sessions led by local community group Media Mania

• Creative & Craft Workshops — mindful crafting, nature-inspired arts, and the chance to take something beautiful home

• Poetry & Spoken Word — readings, creative writing exercises, and performances celebrating the diverse voices of Coventry

• Movement & Wellbeing — guided movement, dance, and nature-inspired wellbeing sessions
