Led by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, The Sherbourne Valley Project is working with local communities to rewrite the future of Coventry’s River Sherbourne.

Sherbourne Valley Volunteering Days

    • Guphill Brook Community Day
      • Date & Time: Wednesday 19th March 2025 from 10:00 - 14:00
      • Location: Farcroft Avenue, Coventry, CV5 
    • Lake View Park Work Party
      • Date & Time: Saturday 22nd March 2025 from 10:30 - 15:00
      • Location: Lake View Park, Lake View Road, Coventry, CV5 8JY
    • Whitley Practical Volunteering Day
      • Date & Time: Thursday 27th March 2025 from 10:00 - 14:00
      • Location: Whitley Abbey Bridge, Abbey Road, Coventry, CV3 4BN

Guphill Brookstray Community Day

  • This monthly work party on the Guphill Brook involves a range of tasks, such as clearing invasive plant species, litter picking and more.

Lake View Park Work Party

  • A Practical Work Party Volunteering day at Lake View Park. Managing woodland to create better wildlife habitat.

Whitley Practical Volunteering Day

  • A monthly volunteering session in Whitley! The team need your help clearing invasive plant species, litter picking and more!

This project is lead by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust in partnership with Coventry City Council, Severn Trent, the Environment Agency, Citizen Housing, Historic Coventry Trust, Coventry University and Sherbourne Valley Churches. It as has been generously supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and it’s thanks to National Lottery players that the team are able to host this event.
