In this mini-retreat morning, The Mindfulness Tree will explore The Art of Slow.

Super Slow Morning Retreat | The Mindfulness Tree

Join The Mindfulness Tree to discover how slowing down can restore our sense of vitality and help us rediscover the beauty of the everyday.

Spend time with fellow enthusiasts for slowing down, in the following activities:

  • Slow movement - The Zen method of “non-doing" (Wu Wei)
  • Slow thinking – Tuning in to less impulsive thinking - more efficient and compassionate
  • Slow conversation – Finding ease, space, and connection with others.
  • Exploring The Art of The Pause.
  • Unpacking deeper motivations – Slowness as a route to authentic values
  • Mindfulness-meditation - The body and senses as channels to stillness
  • Discussions and tea breaks (slow tea, of course)
  • Silent periods

Open to people of all meditation backgrounds, including complete beginners. Especially open to “high-speed” persons! The morning will be led by Dr Michael Roberts, teacher, and coach at The Mindfulness Tree.

Drinks and plant-based snacks provided. Please arrive at 10:00 for a 10:10 start.
