Warwickshire Lavender Farm started out in 2016, as a dream hobby for retirement! Owned by Ian and Pippa, their aim was to create a beautiful, relaxing space for health and wellbeing, and to give the bee hive residents some lovely foraging and to produce the much sought-after lavender honey.

The Lavender Café: A beautiful small charity café housed in a 150+ year old barn, serving hot and cold drinks and a delicious selection of locally baked cakes — including gluten-free and vegan options — until they run out! Please note: no lunches or sandwiches. All profits go to Parkinson's Disease and Huntington's Disease research. Find out more about the Lavender Café here.
Picnics: You're welcome to bring a picnic — use the benches or bring your own rug and chairs. Please take all litter home. Sorry, no barbecues. Limited shelter is available so bring your own shade or wet weather gear.
Parking: Free on site. Limited hard-standing disabled spaces near the café. Grass parking available (at owner's risk — may be unavailable after heavy rain). Please note the car park is uneven in places.
Accessibility: The field has grass paths only — uneven in places and slippery in wet weather. Please wear appropriate footwear. Wheelchair and pushchair access is possible, though assistance may be needed on some sections. The field is a short, fairly accessible walk from the car park.
Dogs: Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome. Please clear up after them.
Good to Know
- Lavender picking is not permitted (lavender bunches available to buy, subject to availability).
- Children must be supervised at all times — the pond has deep water and swimming/paddling is strictly prohibited.
- Please do not go close to the back boundary of the field.
- Drones are strictly prohibited (red zone from Coventry Airport).
- Professional photographers must purchase a Photography Pass (£45) — two special equine photography evenings are also available on 1st and 8th July (contact warwickshirelf@gmail.com for details).
- Coaches cannot be accommodated.
- The car park gates close promptly at 4.30pm — any cars remaining after this time will be locked in!
Group Talks — From Field to Products: Every Thursday and Saturday at 11am, Ian runs an informative, relaxed talk in the distillation shed covering the lavender field, distillation process, bee keeping, lavender varieties, essential oil production, and much more. Tickets are £12 per person (including the field entry fee) and must be pre-booked — call Ian on 07766 501209. Limited to 20 places per session.
Golden Hour Events — Golden Hour in the Lavender: Every Saturday evening in July, enjoy a ticket-only Golden Hour event from 6.30pm – 9.30pm. Live music, a fully stocked bar, freshly made hot food (stone-baked pizza and BBQ), and the shop will all be available. July 4th, 11th, and 18th feature Sam singing Frank Sinatra, Elton John, and The Beatles; July 25th brings a fantastic folk band up from Wiltshire. Very limited tickets — book on Eventbrite here.

Frequently Asked Questions
When does the lavender field open?
The field opens on 19th June 2026 and closes around 9th August 2026, though this may change slightly depending on when the lavender is ready to harvest. Opening days are Wednesday to Sunday, 10am – 4.30pm.
Do I need to book tickets in advance?
No — daytime field entry is pay on the gate with no pre-booking required. The exception is the Group Talks (Thursday and Saturday at 11am), which must be pre-booked by calling Ian on 07766 501209, and the Saturday evening Golden Hour events, which are ticket only via Eventbrite.
How much does it cost to visit?
Adults and children aged 12 and over pay £8. Children aged 5–11 pay £4. Under 5s are free. Prices are held for 2026.
Is the café open before the field opens in June?
Yes! The Lavender Café is open every Saturday from 10am – 4pm throughout the year, not just during the field season. When the field is open, the café opens at the same time as the field.
Can I bring a picnic?
Yes, picnics are very welcome! Bring a rug, your own chairs, and make yourself at home. Please take all litter home with you. Sorry, no barbecues permitted.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes — well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome at all times. Please clear up after them.
