Celebrate creativity, connection and community at this free, family-friendly workshop as part of The Spon End Project.

Inspired by Spon End's rich weaving heritage and the stories that have shaped the neighbourhood over generations, this hands-on session invites children and families to create a colourful woven artwork celebrating the people, places and memories that make the community unique.

Led by artist Lauren Whelan Cooke, participants will explore simple weaving techniques using a variety of colourful materials, adding their own ideas and creations to a large collaborative artwork.

Whether you're weaving for the first time or already enjoy getting creative, everyone is welcome. No previous experience is needed – just imagination and curiosity!
