Coventry Rocks teams up with Cov Uni Student to launch Local Business Directory
Coventry Rocks is a website made especially for families to find things to do in Coventry and the local area. It's full-to-the-brim with local events and attractions, baby groups, children's classes, kids parties and outdoor spaces... and now a brand new Local Business Directory!
Coventry Rocks is owned by local mum of two, Jess McLish, who has always been passionate about supporting local businesses.
“The last year or so has been incredibly hard for small businesses. There are so many wonderful local shops and businesses in Coventry, but until now, there hasn't been a central place to find them all. That's why I had the idea to launch a Local Business Directory!"-

Coventry Rocks teams up with Cov Uni student to launch Local Business Directory
To create this directory, Jess has worked with a local student Jaspreet Kaur, who is studying Digital Marketing Management at Coventry University. Jaspreet applied for a Postgraduate Consultancy Project with Coventry Rocks, and has relished the opportunity to get involved.
"I have found this project with Coventry Rocks extremely rewarding as I have learnt so many valuable skills. From liaising with local businesses, to managing social media campaigns, and discovering great things about our wonderful city. Working with Coventry Rocks has given me skills that will be invaluable in the future!"-

The Local Business Directory officially launched on 1st July 2021, and it has already received hundreds of visits from local residents. The directory features over 50 local shops and businesses, in a wide variety of categories. You can browse the directory here.

Jess explains how she couldn't have done it without Jaspreet's support.
