Tile Hill residents, come get involved this summer with a special exhibition produced by The Caravan Gallery artists and photographers Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale and you could have your artwork, household treasure and your own story featured as part of Tile Hill Pride of Place Project.

Tile Hill Pride of Place Project | Events in Coventry

The Caravan Gallery will join Party on the Green, a free day of performance and activities, on Saturday 7 August.

Come along to the front of the 7th day Adventist Church, where Jan and Chris’s retro yellow caravan will be parked up. You can enjoy their quirky photo exhibition of Tile Hill people and places, find out how to get involved in the project and share your thoughts about Tile Hill by filling in an entertaining survey and much more.

The project offers you a chance to explore your surroundings in a creative way by contributing to an evolving exhibition and alternative visitor information centre.

If you miss out, The Caravan Gallery will return on 16-20 August at Tile Hill Library where you can have a chance to contribute to the growing project and get involved. We are also looking for local artists and artworks, crafts, writing and objects too.

When the caravan is not around, Tile Hill residents can drop off exhibition contributions at the library (or have them photographed if you do not want to leave them).

The exhibition will take place at Tile Hill Library in September 2021.

The Caravan Gallery’s Tile Hill Pride of Place Project is part of Coventry Libraries Service’s programme Digital Spaces, which is funded by Arts Council England and produced by The Space.
