BilinguaSing are bringing their popular sensory French music sessions into a brand new setting this summer, with a special intergenerational family class hosted at a local care home.

This one-off 'We Sing French' class is the result of a brand new partnership with Herald Lodge Care Home, inviting residents to join in with BilinguaSing's fun-filled, highly interactive sessions. It's a first for BilinguaSing Coventry and Kenilworth, bringing families and residents together for a shared morning of music and language.

The class is packed with the usual BilinguaSing magic, introducing little ones to familiar words such as numbers, animals, family members and parts of the body in French through drama, creative play, dance and movement. Sessions are set to a soundtrack of well loved nursery rhymes, original BilinguaSing tracks and traditional French songs, with sensory props, puppets, light shows and bubbles helping toddlers and preschoolers develop their fine and gross motor skills alongside actions and British Sign Language. For the youngest attendees, baby classes combine music and puppet characters with elements of baby yoga, massage and baby signing.

Following the class, staff at Herald Lodge are inviting families to stay for refreshments and a chat with residents, making this a lovely opportunity for children to connect with older members of the community.
