Coventry Safe Spaces
Child Friendly Cov is a campaign to make Coventry a child and young person friendly city, ensuring that Coventry is a place where children and young people are valued, supported and enjoy themselves.

Safety, particularly when walking and traveling around the city, emerged as the top concern in Coventry One Big Voice survey responses in both primary and secondary schools. To address this, Child Friendly Coventry and West Midlands Police have collaborated with partners to establish a number Safe Spaces throughout the city.
Venues such as Family Hubs, CV life venues, McDonalds and youth organisations have joined this initiative, undergoing training provided by Child Friendly Cov and West Midlands Police to ensure they meet safety standards.
Please see below for a map of the Coventry Safe Spaces that can be found in the city.
Visit www.childfriendlycov.co.uk/safespaces for more info.
Safe Spaces will be identified by window stickers and equipped with amenities like phone chargers, first aid kits, and informational leaflets. Check out the map below for all the venues who have signed up to the Safe Spaces Initiative. Please check individual venues for opening times.
