Alongside the arrival of Dippy the Dinosaur from the Natural History Museum, this free, interactive talk offers a closer look at some of the fossils in the permanent museum collection. This will be a rare opportunity for families to discover some of the stored objects and find out what Warwickshire would have been like in the time of the dinosaurs.
As well as hearing the story of our star fossil, an ichthyosaur skull found in Warwickshire, you'll also be able to ask questions and gain an insight into the working life of a museum curator.
Spaces limited to 20 per session, bookable on the day at reception. The Herbert regrets that they are unable to take advanced bookings for this activity. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment and enjoy the museum galleries, craft activities and Dippy display while you wait.
