Dippy the Dinosaur Crafts | February Half Term in Coventry

There are three different Dippy inspired craft sessions at The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum this February half term:

CREATIVE CLAY DINOSAURS - MON 20 & TUE 21 FEB: Experiment with various techniques and tools to form clay dinosaurs and bring your sculptures to life.  

MARVELLOUS MODROC DINOSAURS - WED 22 & THU 23 FEB: Get messy with Modroc! Combine this versatile material with newspaper, tape, wire and foil to sculpt your favourite dinosaurs. Which one will you choose? Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus or a Diplodocus like Dippy? Take home and admire your amazing artwork and if desired you can paint it once it's dry. 

FIERY VIBRANT VOLCANOES - FRI 24 & SAT 25 FEB: Use your imagination to travel back to a time when lava and gases were erupting in quick succession during the extinction of the dinosaurs! Construct your own volcanoes by reusing and recycling cardboard and newspaper. Enhance your designs using colourful paint and homemade play dough, then take home and enjoy your artwork.
