Saturday Town is an award-winning photographic project by Casey Orr, celebrating youth style, fashion, and self-expression across the UK. Since 2013, the project has documented young people in towns and cities on Saturday afternoons, capturing a decade of evolving culture, identity, and the way public spaces are used.
Bringing together powerful and playful portraiture, the exhibition showcases how fashion acts as a visual language of change. With previous exhibitions including Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool and publications such as Saturday Girl, this project highlights the diversity and individuality of youth culture across Britain.
As part of the Coventry exhibition, Casey Orr hosted a series of local photoshoots during February and March 2026, capturing the city’s young people and their unique styles. A selection of these portraits will be displayed within the exhibition from the end of March, offering a hyper-local connection to the wider national project.
What to expect:
- Striking photographic portraits of young people from across the UK
- A celebration of youth identity, fashion, and self-expression
- Coventry-based portraits from recent local photoshoots
- Insight into changing culture through visual storytelling
- A thought-provoking and engaging exhibition experience
Perfect for photography lovers, creatives, and anyone curious about youth culture, this is a unique opportunity to see Coventry represented within a nationally recognised project. Don’t miss out – plan your visit and experience Saturday Town for yourself!
