St Nicholas Park, Warwick

There is lots to see and do at St Nicholas Park for the whole family. There is a large expanse of grass for ball games, picnics or kite-flying. The formal flower beds are beautiful all year round, and you can enjoy a relaxing stroll along the river.

Children's Play Area at St Nicholas Park

The play area is ideal for kids up to the age of 12, with activities designed for younger children as well as older, more adventurous kids. With swings, climbing frames, slides and more, the play area is set right next to the open lawned areas of St Nicholas Park, so there's lots of room for games and activities both on and off the adventure playground. There are also useful seating areas around the play area, so there's space to relax, sit down and watch the kids have the time of their life!

Paddling Pool at St Nicholas Park

At St Nicholas Park the outdoor pool is reserved for kids aged up to 12. The pool is shallow, safe and perfect for younger children looking to cool down in the summer! So remember to bring swimming costumes when you come to St Nicholas Park and let your kids make a splash! There are seating areas along the side for adults. Please do not leave children unsupervised in the pool area. Find the opening times here. Updated May 2025 - currently closed for refurbishment, scheduled to re-open in Summer 2025. More info.

Fun Park at St Nicholas Park

The funfair at St Nicholas Park has a great range of rides and games for toddler up to 12 year olds. From water shooters to the classic Teacup ride, the Fun Park is so much fun! The Funland Express is an ideal ride for younger children. Older kids will love the Orbital Cars and the HillBilly shooter game is guaranteed to have mums and dads as addictive as the kids! As well as rides there are water cannons and other coin operated games and the Candy Cabin serving fresh candy floss, sweets and ice-cream.

Mini Golf at St Nicholas Park

All new Adventure Mini-Golf is just opposite the Fun Park, and guarantees 18 holes of fun! Watch out for the water hazards and those pesky rocks whilst making your way round the course – the Adventure Mini-Golf course is a big challenge for kids and grown-ups alike! With a fantastic view over the rest of St Nicholas Park, Adventure Mini Golf is brilliant entertainment for the whole family and one of St Nicholas Park’s most popular attractions.  Warwick Boat Hire

Warwick Boat Hire has a fantastic range of boats, including large swan & dragon pedalos, electric motor boats, traditional row boats, canoes and kayaks. A range of canoe & kayak activity courses for children and adults. Book online here.

Café at St Nicholas Park

The St Nicholas Park Tea Shop is the ideal place to grab a snack, get a hot meal, ice cream or a nice cup of tea! With indoor and outdoor seating and free wifi, the Tea Shop is a great place to relax and unwind before going off to find more fun! The Tea Shop is fully licensed and offers a range of alcoholic drinks as well as coffees, teas, smoothies and cold drinks. There's also a great range of food available, including hot main meals, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, cakes and snacks.

Parking at St Nicholas Park

St Nicholas Car Park is incredibly convenient for both Warwick town centre and St Nicholas Park itself. You can reach it on foot, by train, bus or bike and there is an on-site Pay and Display Car Park with over a hundred spaces. Find out more, including bus routes here.
