Ten Pin Bowling

• The classic! The more pins you knock down, the more points you score. Simple. A single game consists of 10 “frames”, with each frame consisting of two chances to knock down ten pins (with the exception of the last frame). Each pin you knock down earns you a point, while you can also score extra points by bowling “strikes” or “spares”. You can even order refreshments straight to your comfy booth. Nice!

Ice-Free Curling

• The aim of the game is simple: slide the curling stones aiming at the centre of the target. The player with the most stones in the most central position wins! American Pool

• American Pool is typically known for the balls used, with spots and stripes making them instantly recognisable. American pool tables are larger than English Pool tables by 2 feet, totalling 9 feet in total. The pockets are also much easier to shoot into as opposed to English Pool. The smoother playing surface also makes American Pool more simple to play. The game is perfect for families, couples or even larger groups of up to fourteen people, making it a great option whatever the reason for your visit.

Shuffleboard

• Shuffleboard’s rules and scoring system are simple. The game involves sliding a puck into the opponent’s area of the board without falling off the end in order to score points. The person to score fourteen points first wins. Be careful not to slide the puck too hard otherwise it may fall off the end scoring zero. Few people know that a tactical approach is THE best way to win! Making blocks in the way of your opponent is much more effective than sliding the puck as hard as you can.

Star Pins prides itself on its food and beverage offering with a wide menu selection to suit all ages. Guests can enjoy a range of options from the food menu including hot dogs and pizzas and a sharing menu with dishes such as garlic flatbread, nacho sharer and a BBQ chicken nacho sharer. For £14.95, guests can enjoy 3 small plates of their choice ranging from popcorn chicken, buffalo cauliflower fries, chilli cheese bites, and mozzarella dippers. The menu also features not 1 but 4 different options of fries from classic fries to tater tots, loaded fries, loaded tater tots and salt & pepper loaded fries. Do you offer kids parties? Yes of course! Kids' bowling parties at Star Pins start from £13 per person. This includes 1 game of Ten Pin Bowling or Mini Golf, a delicious buffet of pizza, chicken bites, and fries, unlimited squash, and print-at-home party invites. Are there age restrictions? All ages are welcome - just check the guidance on each game when booking. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over.

Can I reserve a table for food? For general dining, advanced bookings are not required but can be arranged. For group parties, please contact the team directly to discuss food reservations.

What time should I arrive for my booking? We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure a smooth and timely experience.

Is fancy dress allowed? Yes, Star Pins welcome fancy dress in a tasteful manner. If you're unsure about your outfit, feel free to contact the team for clarification.

Is parking available? Yes, West Orchards Shopping Centre provides a three-level multi-storey car park located on Smithford Way, CV1 1QX. The car park is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, and on Sunday from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. It offers 563 spaces, including disabled and parent & toddler parking. Please note that there is no overnight parking or access after closing.
