A free-wheeling play session with our playful friend, the Parakeet! Join us for an early years play session that will have your little ones spinning, bouncing, rolling, wheeling, and getting dotty with delight! Book your place.

Thursday 27th July | Summer Spot - Mini Engineers - Coventry Transport Museum 

Coventry Transport Museum's Mini Museum Engineers are packing their playthings and are bringing them to Leamington Spa to welcome you to an open-ended play space that welcomes all children small and tall to take a break and play the time away with chalks, hoops, tyres, tubes, fabrics, tools and lots more. Thursday 3rd August | Summer Spot - Out & About - Outdoor Theatre

 Our Out and About workshops are open to everyone and will be full of games and drama activities that don’t always require words to play! The workshops are suitable for young people of all ages, come and have some fun! Book your place.

Come along to make your own story stick! Where you will be offered the invitation to be connected to art, play, creativity and nature. The sticks carry their own story of relationship between the stick, the materials and the creator. Book your place.

Sunday 6th August | Summer Spot - Meet the Messy Artist - Julia Snowdin 

Come and join artist and creator of Summer Spot and Dot Dome, Julia Snowdin and helper Jess Pinson in a messy, painting and collage workshop. Taking inspiration from the installations we will be creating huge circles and painting, gluing and sticking to make artworks that catch and reflect the sunlight. Book your place.

Join MK Gallery's award-winning Inclusive Practice in the Arts team, and artist Amy Leung in a creative play-based workshop for all the family! An inclusive, non verbal, sensitive and creative movement workshop exploring themes of air and water. This session will support a safe environment in which participants are encouraged to express mood, feelings and sensory responses to both their physical environment and to each other through movement. Thursday 31st August | Sensory Scavenger - Foundry Woods

Join Kate Haines, an outdoor educator from Foundry Wood, for a sensory scavenger hunt around the Jephson Gardens. With the found materials we'll create leaf rubbings and some leaf bunting to decorate the dome. We'll also be taking advantage of the sunshine to use a photographic process called cyanotype to create some beautiful leaf prints. Book your place.
