Walking cricket is a slower-paced, indoor adaptation of the traditional game, tailored for individuals who may find the standard format physically demanding. Sessions will provide a relaxed, sociable environment where participants can stay engaged with cricket while reaping the physical and mental health benefits of regular activity. The sessions, led by ACE Cricket Development Officer Leron Barker, are free and open to men over 50, aiming to attract a mix of returning cricket lovers and newcomers to the game.
Sessions are being delivered in partnership with The Bob Willis Fund, as part of a joint effort to raise awareness of prostate cancer and encourage men to stay active. Click here to find out more.
