Pumpkin Picking near Coventry


Halloween is just around the corner, and whilst it's easy to buy a pumpkin in the supermarket, it's great fun to pick your own! Pumpkin Picking is a great activity to do with the whole family, and there are lots of places around Coventry where you can pick the perfect pumpkin!

Pumpkins r Us

Pumpkins R Us are based in Kenilworth and they have the most amazing array of pumpkins for you to choose from - every size and shape you can imagine! They even have a Halloween shop to get all your essential Halloween goodies.

The Barn at Berryfields

In May, the team at Berryfields planted 12,000 seeds by hand, and now they are ready for you to come and choose your own Pumpkin! There are 9 different varieties of pumpkins and squashes and a whole range of sizes... PLUS a Halloween shop with treats and decorations! Keep an eye on the Facebook Page for further information.

Dates & Times: Open from Monday 19th to Saturday 31st October 2020. Booking slots will be for 45 minutes from 10am - 6pm (Mon-Sat) and 10am - 5pm (Sundays)

Lower Clopton Farm Shop

Lower Clopton Farm Shop and Cafe is a family run business situated near Stratford-upon-Avon on the border of The Cotswolds. No booking is required. Entry to the pumpkin patch will be £1.00 per person (babes in arms go free).

Hatton Adventure World

Hatton Adventure World is once again awash with ghosts, ghouls, cobwebs…and pumpkins! Pick your own FREE pumpkin, brave the Halloween Marquee and create a wonderful carving alongside a full programme of spooky activities.

Malt Kiln Farm Shop

Malt Kiln Farm Shop is a fantastic place for a relaxed day out with the family. As well as the PYO fields, you can also browse the huge Farm Shop and treat yourself at Rebecca's Kitchen Coffee Shop. Here you can read all about the Malt Kiln Farm Shop and it's facilities.

Manor Farm Fruits

Manor Farm Fruits is situated in the picturesque village of Hints in Staffordshire, just 3 miles from Tamworth and 6 miles from Lichfield. Manor Farm Fruits grow strawberries, raspberries and other soft fruit. They do PYO and ready picked fruit at the farm - a great day out with the children. Dogs are allowed to be on a lead in the car park area and play area, although not the PYO fields.

Poplars Farm

Poplars Farm and Shop is a family run farm, farming 500 acres in the Warwickshire countryside, 2.5 miles from Nuneaton Town centre. Poplars Farm have lots of parking and space to enable social distancing. There is no entry fee, and at the moment there is no booking requirement. Please ensure you visit the Facebook Page for updates before you visit.

Planter's Garden Centre

This Halloween event includes lots of family fun such as pumpkin picking, carving, games and more! Every child ticket includes picking a pumpkin, carving it and being able to take it home.

Pumpkin Carving is a must-do activity for Halloween, and it's something the whole family can get involved with! This year, why not push your creative limits and try something a bit different? Here are some of our favourites:

Witch's Nose Pumpkin

Flip your pumpkin on its side this year to use the stalk as a creepy nose, and carve your pumpkin around it. How clever!

Toothpick pumpkin

If you're not advanced enough to carve out teeth, use toothpicks instead! Simple yet effective, and great for kids.

Boo! pumpkin

Simple, yet brilliantly eye catching! For kids, why not spell out their name or your initials? Yes, it might take a lot of pumpkins, but worth it for the impact!

Cat pumpkin

Because Halloween doesn't have to be scary, why not make a cute animal instead!
