What's On Summer Holidays in Coventry 2026
Summer at Ash End House Children's Farm
Ash End House Children's Farm in Tamworth is a great value day out for families this summer. Every paying child gets a free bucket of animal feed plus access to farm activities running on rotation all day - a tractor trailer ride, pony sit-on, chick chat, egg collecting and more. Add on The Big Play Barn next door for a huge indoor soft play adventure suitable from toddlers right up to older kids.

Lichfield Maize Maze, Sunflowers & Wildflowers
Looking for a fun summer day out near Coventry? Lichfield Maize Maze is an award-winning family attraction just a short drive away, set on a beautiful family-run arable and potato farm. With a brand-new rainforest-themed maize maze, stunning sunflower and wildflower fields, outdoor play areas and plenty of countryside fun, it's a brilliant family day out during the summer holidays.

Summer Holidays at British Motor Museum | Gaydon
The British Motor Museum in Gaydon is packed with racing simulators, creative workshops and family trails this summer. Home to the world's largest collection of historic British cars, the museum has packed the summer with Forza Horizon 6 racing simulators, the new Spoiler Alert! exhibition celebrating 1980s and 1990s hot hatches, a Creation Station for building circuit-powered vehicles, and a family trail with a Tank Passport to collect stamps along the way.

Summer at Warwick Castle
Warwick Castle is bringing the summer to life with medieval jousting, a birds of prey display and family attractions inspired by Zog. Highlights include the Wars of the Roses LIVE! jousting show, the Falconer's Quest bird of prey display, the Realm of Zog with its trail and playland, plus 64 acres of grounds, towers and the Horrible Histories® Maze to explore.

Summer at St Mary's Guildhall
St Mary's Guildhall is running a royal-themed summer programme of trails, crafts and activities to mark the launch of its new exhibition. Majestic Monarchs of St Mary's Guildhall explores how royal visits shaped the city, alongside a Royal Progress Family Trail, a Crown Jewels Quest, dressing-up costumes, wax melt stamping and royal craft activities running throughout the summer.

West Midlands Safari Park | K-Pop Summer
West Midlands Safari Park is turning up the volume this summer with an all-new K-pop celebration alongside brand-new dinosaur encounters. The K-Pop Summer Live Show runs at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm (plus 6pm on Saturdays) at Treetops Pavilion, with Eddie and Eliza's K-pop meet and greet on the Discovery Trail. Plus, a FREE return visit!

Six Weeks of Summer Fun at Lower Drayton Farm
PLAY@ Lower Drayton Farm is packing the summer holidays with animal encounters, foam parties, tractor rides and indoor play, all included in one ticket. Every ticket includes a new wildflower meadow, sunflower patch and maize maze, daily animal talks, farm trailer rides, a Woodland Dino Walk and Farmer Ray's Tractor Museum, plus epic foam parties, Water Wars water cannons and acres of indoor and outdoor play.

Summer Exhibitions and Events | Herbert Art Gallery
The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum is filling the summer holidays with a sensory ocean exhibition, a natural sciences display and a dinosaur-themed discovery day.

Stonebridge Adventure Golf
The Stonebridge Adventure Golf course features 18 challenging holes with unique obstacles and challenges such as waterfalls, sand traps, and many woodland friends. Each hole has a different theme, and as you progress round the course you will have to cross the rapids by pulling you and your family & friends across the water on raft bridges! Open every day of the Summer holidays, you can just turn up or book ahead to skip the queues!

Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve
There's so much to do at Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve over the Summer Holidays! Activities are running for the first four weeks of the summer holidays. Festival of Sport 2026
Festival of Sport UK is an exciting, family-friendly weekend packed with energy, inspiration and fun. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Packington Estate, the event brings families together to enjoy sport, music and outdoor adventure in a safe, inclusive and scenic setting.

Summer Makers Market | FarGo Village
With free entry, this celebration of independent creativity takes place in the heart of FarGo Village. This won't be just any market – the team is creating a full summer day out, with extra activities happening across the village alongside the market itself.

Stoneleigh Duck Race
Stoneleigh Village Club is hosting its much-loved Duck Race on Vicarage Road, with a full afternoon of family fun, a BBQ, stalls, tractor rides and free parking. Gates open at 1pm with the duck race itself taking place at 3pm — a brilliant community day out for the whole family.

The Tiger Who Came to Tea

Let's Watch & Make! – Winnie the Pooh | Coventry Cathedral
Come and join Coventry Cathedral this Summer for crafts and a classic kids film! Gather in St Michael's Gallery for creative making, then head to the Chapterhouse Cinema to watch Winnie the Pooh (2011). A lovely free morning out for little ones.

Inflatable 5k Obstacle Course | Warwick Uni

West Orchards Dino Trail | City Centre
West Orchards Shopping Centre is transforming into a prehistoric playground with a free family trail packed with fossils, prizes and dino-sized fun. If you're looking for free summer holiday activities in Coventry, this is a great place to start! Go hunting for fossils on the trail all summer and on Wednesdays, try the pop-up fossil dig and spin the wheel for prizes.

Arawak Community Trust and Xcel Leisure Centre are teaming up for their 14th annual Family Sports Funday & Caribbean BBQ — a free summer series packed with sport, food, music, and fun for all the family. Chapelfields Festival 2026
