Families can enjoy a full day packed with exciting animal activities alongside all the usual PLAY@ indoor and outdoor fun. From reptiles and rabbits to ponies, goats and ferrets, there are plenty of opportunities for children to get up close to friendly animals while learning fascinating facts from the expert team throughout the day.

Animal experiences will take place on a rolling programme between approximately 10:30am–4pm, meaning there’s always something exciting happening during your visit.

Visitors can enjoy interactive small animal talks inside the Cinebarn, where children may meet rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks, tortoises and reptiles while learning all about them through fun and engaging sessions.

The popular Dino Egg Hatchery reptile experience also returns for half term, giving families the chance to meet creatures including bearded dragons, leopard geckos, corn snakes and ball pythons - before coming face-to-face with dinosaur favourite Ivy!

Outdoor animal experiences include pony grooming sessions, goat encounters and the brand NEW Ferret Play Time featuring Minx & Mabel. Little ones can watch the ferrets race, play and explore before meeting them after the show.

There’ll also be traditional sheep shearing demonstrations taking place during selected sessions throughout the week, offering children a brilliant insight into farming life and how wool is collected and used.
