Since 2017, Tile Hill Library has become Coventry's first Autism friendly library! Taking on feedback and suggestions from the community, Tile Hill Library has an open plan children's area at the front of the library, specialist signage and stock.
For one hour a week, Tile Hill Library will be completely autism friendly with lower noise levels, extra furniture available such as special bean bags, sensory tents, iPads with specialist apps available and designated chill out zones. Most of all, you can expect understanding, awareness and acceptance.
