Coventry Canal Basin

Parks & Walks

Rescued from dereliction, today Coventry Canal Basin is a great place to explore canal heritage, spot quirky crafts in old warehouses, relax in cafes and bars and spot local wildlife on the water. Download a map here.

Bishop Street Basin, in the heart of Coventry, has now been restored and marks the end of the Coventry Canal. It has a welcoming community of boaters, and is an ideal starting point for your Sunday afternoon canalside stroll or bike ride.

A footbridge over the ringroad lets you walk from the basin to the town centre, with places to shop, eat and drink.
