For the very first time, The Artisan Show arrives at the historic grounds of Maxstoke Castle, promising a truly unique day out. This carefully curated event brings together the very best of British handmade and heritage crafts, showcasing exceptional skill, creativity, and tradition in a breath-taking setting.

Visitors will also experience an exciting new addition this year, as the Knights of Honour re-enactment group transports guests back to 14th-century England. Their fully immersive living history encampment offers a fascinating glimpse into medieval life, where ancient crafts and traditions come vividly to life.

Expect live demonstrations of traditional skills including fletching, candle making, ceramics, cooking displays, apothecary practices, and even a working forge. Alongside this, guests can enjoy live music, watch talented artists and makers at work, and explore a variety of artisanal food from independent producers.

This is a rare opportunity to meet skilled craftspeople, discover heritage techniques, and experience history in an engaging and interactive way - all within the beautiful grounds of a historic castle.
