Splash Pool at War Memorial Park | Coventry
The splash pool at War Memorial Park is now permanently closed.
Splash Park at Victoria Park | Leamington Spa
There's a good-sized, shallow, treated pool at Victoria Park - perfect for little one's to splash about. Don't forget your beach toys - there's a sandpit area as well as the rest of the park to explore. Find out about Victoria Park here.
Victoria Park Splash Park is currently closed for remedial works and is scheduled to open Summer 2026. More info.

Splash Pool at St Nicholas Park | Warwick
At St Nicholas Park the outdoor pool is reserved for kids aged up to 12. The pool is shallow, safe and perfect for younger children looking to cool down in the summer! So remember to bring swimming costumes when you come to St Nicholas Park and let your kids make a splash! There are seating areas along the side for adults. Find all the details here.

City Centre Fountains | Coventry
On a hot day, the water features in Coventry city centre are a magnet for families! The floor fountains in the Upper Precinct are a firm favourite with children, who love running through the jets on a sunny afternoon. Just a short walk away, the spiralling water feature in Bull Yard - right next to The Wave waterpark - is another great spot to cool off, and there's a children's play area nearby too. Both are free to enjoy and easy to combine with a wider trip into the city centre.

Paddling Pool at Stratford Recreation Ground | Stratford-upon-Avon
The Recreation Ground in Stratford-upon-Avon - known locally as 'the Rec' - is a lovely spot for a family day out by the River Avon. The paddling pool is a popular feature, open daily from 1 May to 30 September (11am–7pm), weather permitting, and free to use. It's a great place for little ones to cool off on a sunny day.

Droitwich Lido Park Splash Pad | Droitwich Spa
Lido Park in Droitwich Spa is home to a free splash pad that's ideal for families looking for a fun water play area without the cost of a swimming session. The water play area features fountains and water jets for children to splash around in, and the wider park offers open green space and play facilities to make a full day of it. The season typically runs through to September, open daily 10am–6pm, weather permitting. For those who want more, the historic Droitwich Spa Lido is also located within the park - one of the UK's last remaining inland open-air saltwater pools, with its own wet play area full of water cannons and fountains.

Ackers Adventure | Paddle, Canoe and Kayak | Birmingham
If you're looking for a water-based adventure a little different from a splash park, Ackers Adventure in Birmingham is a brilliant option, easily accessible from Coventry. Set across 75 acres of woodland, grassland and waterways, this fantastic outdoor activity centre offers canoeing and kayaking sessions for all abilities - from complete beginners to more experienced paddlers - on the Grand Union Canal which runs right through the site. Sessions are available for individuals, families and groups, and qualified instructors are on hand throughout. It's a fantastic way to get the kids out on the water and experience something a little more adventurous!

Indoor Water Play in Coventry
Centre AT7 Splash Zone
The splash zone at Centre AT7 is perfect for little ones. With jets, waterfalls and buckets, it's a great place for children to get confident in the water. Parent and toddler sessions are available on week days during term time. Splash Zone Timetable.
There are 3 water slides at Centre AT7. You must be minimum 1.3m tall to use the slides.

The Wave Water Park
From high-speed slides and a fun-packed splash zone to the exhilarating Wave Pool and relaxing Lazy River, there really is something for everyone to enjoy! The Reef is a splash zone for under 8s and the Lazy River and Wave Pool is suitable for all ages. There are a number of slides to ride if you're 1.2m or taller. There's one slide - The Cascade which children under 1.2m can ride with an adult.
Jaguar Sports and Social Club
The Jaguar Cars Sports & Social Club features a family-friendly swimming pool, suitable for all ages. The leisure centre offers various swimming lessons for babies, children, and adults. Additionally, the leisure facilities include a health suite with a sauna and steam room, alongside a recently refurbished gym and a range of fitness classes.
Alton Towers Water Park
One of the most exciting UK waterparks, you can experience the thrills of the Rush and Rampage Tube slides or drift along the lazy river if you're looking for a more relaxing day out. Perfect for the whole family, there's something for everyone at this kids waterpark, from splashtastic thrills to the lazy river's play areas and water buckets for little ones.
